Client work
Software built for clients
A handful of projects I've built for clients, and the story behind each one.
-
HealthTech · SaaS
AI-assisted operating room management platform for hospitals
Multi-tenant SaaS covering a patient's journey through surgery, from pre-op to recovery. I owned the backend, cloud infrastructure, and web frontend. I also designed a computer vision system that detects operating room events from on-site cameras, with all video processed locally.
-
HealthTech · Live Streaming
Live video streaming platform for surgical education
Surgeons go live from Zoom in a couple of clicks and their procedures stream to a permission-controlled audience, with chat, clips, and paid memberships. Started from an open-source project that was soon abandoned, so the whole codebase became ours to own. I was the sole engineer, responsible for the architecture, the AWS infrastructure, and every feature.
-
FinTech · Data Visualization
Interactive charting platform for financial market data
A subscription site built around interactive financial charts, serving millions of page views a month. As the sole engineer, I ended its recurring outages early on, redesigned how charts are built and served, and rebuilt the subscription flow.
-
HealthTech
Drawing-based platform for remote trauma recovery sessions
A web app that takes an in-person trauma recovery method online. Users draw their story board by board and record a voice-over, and facilitators use those storylines to guide the sessions. I came in after an earlier version missed the mark and, as the only engineer, redesigned the architecture and built the drawing board, storylines, charts, and subscriptions.
-
EdTech
Mock exam platform for competitive exams
Students sit timed, sectioned, multilingual mock exams and get a full breakdown of their performance as soon as they finish. I was the only engineer, from mockups to deployment, and built the importer that turns the client's Word question bank into live tests.
-
Logistics · Marketplace
Peer-to-peer marketplace for covering delivery routes
Independent delivery route owners hire vetted relievers to drive their routes, with background checks, chat, trip tracking, and payouts handled without an administrator. I built the backend on my own: the job workflow, the Stripe, Checkr, and PubNub integrations, and a multilingual API.
